Is there really a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan is free forever — 100 questions a month, one connected source, and cited answers, with no credit card to sign up. It's a genuine way to evaluate Cortex on your own docs.
What counts as a "question"?
A question is a single query you send to Cortex. Follow-up messages in the same conversation each count as a question. Indexing your documents never counts toward your question limit.
How does Cortex handle permissions?
Cortex syncs the access controls from each connected source. On the Team and Enterprise plans, people only ever see answers drawn from documents they already have permission to open.
Is my data used to train models?
Never. Your documents and questions are private to your workspace and are not used to train any model. Enterprise adds data residency options, VPC deployment, and granular audit logs.
Can I switch plans or cancel any time?
Absolutely. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from your billing settings whenever you like. Changes apply immediately and we prorate the difference automatically.
Do you offer annual or volume pricing?
