Our story
Started by an instructor who'd had enough of shouting
RoadReady began in 2009 when Dan Harper, a driving instructor of two decades, grew frustrated watching learners leave lessons in tears. He believed people learn to drive faster when they feel calm, supported and clear on what comes next — not when they're being barked at from the passenger seat.
From a single dual-control car, RoadReady has grown into a team of 45 carefully chosen instructors across the region. We've kept Dan's founding rule ever since: patience first, pressure never.
Today we're proud to be one of the highest pass-rate schools in the area — but what we're most proud of is the thousands of confident, safe drivers we've put on the road.
