What you'll need to begin

A few straightforward requirements keep every flight safe and legal. We help you with each one.

  • Minimum ageStart training any time; solo at 16, PPL at 17, CPL at 18.
  • Aviation medical certificateClass 3 for private training, Class 1 for a commercial career path.
  • English proficiencyComfortable speaking English — the international language of aviation.
  • Photo ID & documentsGovernment photo ID and, for career tracks, proof of education.

Pay as you fly, or finance the lot

The Private Pilot course starts from $11,900 all-in, including aircraft, instructor, and ground-school. Pay lesson-by-lesson, or fund a full program through our partner aviation-finance plans.

Frequently asked questions

None at all. Most of our students arrive having never touched the controls of an aircraft. Your first lessons start from the absolute basics.

A Private Pilot Licence typically takes 4–6 months training part-time. A full zero-to-airline pathway runs around 18–24 months full-time.

For private flying you'll need a Class 3 aviation medical; for a commercial career you'll need a Class 1. We can refer you to an approved aviation medical examiner.

Absolutely. With seven-day operations and online booking, many students fly evenings and weekends and finish around their careers.

Yes — you can pay lesson-by-lesson or finance an entire program through our partners. We also offer scholarships and veteran benefits. Ask an advisor.
