All foods can fit
There are no good or bad foods here — just context, balance, and the foods that bring you joy.
I started my career in a busy hospital, counseling patients managing diabetes, heart disease, and digestive disorders. I loved the science — but I kept noticing the same thing: people left with a printout and no real sense of how to make it work on a Tuesday night with kids, deadlines, and a tired body.
So I moved into community and private practice, and eventually founded Nourish. My mission is simple: take the best of clinical nutrition and translate it into something warm, doable, and shame-free. No fad diets, no food rules you'll quietly break by the weekend — just a plan that fits the life you actually live.
When I'm not with clients, you'll find me testing one-pot recipes, training for half marathons (slowly), and proving that yes, a dietitian can absolutely have dessert.
Real training behind every recommendation — so your care is grounded in evidence, not the latest trend.
There are no good or bad foods here — just context, balance, and the foods that bring you joy.
Every recommendation is grounded in current research, not whatever's trending this week.
I bring the nutrition knowledge; you bring the wisdom about your body, life, and preferences.
Lasting habits are built one doable change at a time — not through dramatic overhauls.
Wellbeing isn't a number on a scale. We measure success by energy, labs, and how you feel.
Meals are culture, comfort, and connection. A good plan honors all of it, not just the macros.
Graduated with a BS in Dietetics and completed a year-long clinical internship across hospital and outpatient settings.
Spent three years counseling patients with diabetes, cardiac, and GI conditions — and learned how rarely the "printout" approach actually works.
Completed an MS in Clinical Nutrition and dove deep into metabolic and gut health research.
Trained as an Intuitive Eating counselor after watching too many clients harmed by restrictive dieting.
Opened a practice built on warmth, evidence, and the radical idea that healthy eating should feel good.
Nourish supports clients in-person in Portland and virtually across the country — one realistic plan at a time.
