Tucked into the western slopes of the Sonoma Valley, Estate has spent three generations turning sun, stone, and patience into wines worth slowing down for.
Estate began in 1962 when Giulia and Tomas Vella planted their first acre of Cabernet on a south-facing slope no one else wanted. Three generations later, we still farm those same vines by hand — and still believe great wine is made in the vineyard long before it reaches the cellar.
A handful of the bottles our cellar door can't keep on the shelf — each grown, fermented, and aged on the estate.
Dense and ageworthy, with blackcurrant, cedar, and a long graphite finish from our oldest hillside block.
Tasting notes: Blackcurrant · Cedar · Cocoa
Barrel-fermented and unfiltered — stone fruit, toasted hazelnut, and a bright line of citrus acidity.
Tasting notes: White peach · Hazelnut · Lemon
Pale, dry, and made for the porch — wild strawberry, white flowers, and a crisp mineral snap.
Tasting notes: Strawberry · Rose petal · Citrus
